My life's path has been motivated by curiosity and a desire to know the world around me at a deeper level. It felt unnatural for me to accept the status quo of life. I knew there had to be more and I have always wanted to know the “why” of things; therefore I’ve dedicated much of my life energy to self-exploration and following my wonder about people, relationships, and diverse cultures. I am a member of a Playback Improvisational theater group, I dance and practice yoga, so being alive and energetic is a personal commitment for me.

I believe in the mind and body are inextricably linked. I offer more than 30 years of psychotherapy experience, including training in Bioenergetic Analysis, Expressive Arts Therapy, Imago Couples Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Re-processing (EMDR), and Addictions.

I am the executive director and a member of the board of directors of the Southern California Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis (SCIBA). I am faculty for the Certification Training and the One-Year Program for SCIBA and was faculty chair for 5 years. I also teach clinical counseling classes at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and have taught classes in the Addictions program at National University.

I am a certified IMAGO relationship therapist and a "Getting the Love You Want” couples’ workshop presenter.

I have been a conference keynote speaker and presented workshops at local, national, and international conferences. In addition to offering psychotherapy in my private practice with individuals, couples, and groups, I am available for workshops and speaking engagements.
